Throwing field stalks

This season fields are harvested leaving cut field stalks. We used to grab the cut stalks and pull them out the ground, along with a ball of mud and throw them over each other and bonfires (guy fawkes night). Have previously made short film clips using stalks and an art piece (October http://sambaxterart.co.uk/October ) in studio/gallery space. Intend to do a lot more with them this season. Always drawn to plant material which comes available in the masses. (Granted, proteas don't but they do hold masses of material in each head.)
