Back to Protea flowers

Got a big batch of Protea flowers from Rosebud, Dundee for a great price. They are the perfect kind of flower I need to make the fluffy chain longer for degree show. So begins many hours of drying out the flowers, seperating all the segments carefully (easy to break valuable parts) and then thread the perianths together to make the chain. Now using the sharp points that have the fluffy seed on the end as a piece of work itself. Did tests using a wooden frame and fabric. Cut the 'styles' away from frame and they still stand by themselves. Looking forward to my progress with this piece.
